Welcome to the UND HPC documentation page
This website contains documentation for various High Performance Computing (HPC) topics using the University of North Dakota clusters.
If this is your first time using the clusters the getting started section on the left should help you get up and running.
Any and all compute intensive processes must be run on the compute nodes through Slurm. Running compute intensive processes on the head nodes is not permitted. Any compute intensive tasks that are run on the head nodes will be immediately terminated. Failure to comply may result in temporary or permanent revocation of your HPC access privileges.
If you are trying to run a specific application on the clusters there is the HPC Software Tutorials section that has a list of some of the Programs we have installed on the clusters. If you don't see the program you want to run in that list feel free to contact us.
